helpful hint : changing the crib.

I loathe changing the crib sheet.  It is a complete and utter pain to remove the bumpers or try to successfully and strategically move them out of the way to put on a fresh crib sheet - especially in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.  That's when I mumble of sorts of choice words at the crib for being impossible.

Luckily I discovered a solution after my Tyler was born.  The basic comfort ultimate crib sheet by summer infant is my sanity saver friends.  Easy on.  Easy off.  Completely protects your sheets from being soiled.  It snaps right into place.  And when it needs to be cleaned, just toss it in the washer.  It does cover up your sheet, so if you have a pattern, you will only be able to see it peeking from the side of the crib.  But well worth it, trust me.  And a little FYI, have at least two on hand!

I thought I would share this little trick with you seeing as I was up at 5:30.  Diaper leak.  I'm thinking a big diet dr. pepper is in order now.

  1. Ultimate crib sheets are definitely on my must-have baby items list. I'm SO glad I was told about them before my first, and I try to make sure all my friends know about them. They are a lifesaver!

  2. I CAN'T STAND CHANGING THE CRIB SHEETS!!!!!!!! The bumpers are annoying, I also have to move the entire crib forward to get to the back end of it...just annoying!!! Luckily I had to take the bumpers off today because my daughter (Godzilla as I call her) has decided that she wants to stand all the time.

But I will still look into those crib sheets because it's still annoying to change them.

    Thanks for the tip!
