Not once this summer have I heard my boys utter the words, "I'm bored." Three cheers for that. What I do hear on an almost daily basis, multiple times over, is... "Can we play Ticket to Ride? It is their newest obsession and rightfully so. It is in their blood. If they didn't grow to love board games, I'd become a teensy bit concerned.
Us Elmers, we are a competitive bunch. The fact that my seven year old has already beaten me, well, makes me question my own skills. But for the record, board gamin' is not in my blood, I've grown to appreciate it and maybe even one day love it.

ReplyDeleteWe alsolove board games. Have your boys tried Carcossone? It's super fun and similar to Settlers of Catan. Our kids love it.
