I often find myself strolling the isles of youth literature when browsing the bookstore. There is something appealing to me about the stories and tales that can be found in the children's section. And I am just going to put this out there, but I completely and 100% judge books by their cover. You know you do it too. A well illustrated cover is an attention grabber and that is precisely why I purchased The Mysterious Benedict Society.
Here's the cherry on top—the story inside is just as good!

My son just read this and loved it. He says there are more books in the series. I will have to look for the next book.
